Just saying, a pokemon episode from the anime was banned because it featured Jynx and many parents thought it was a racial comparison.

Jynx WAS black originally. Everyone hated it in the TV show because it was annoying and people said it was racist. They later changed Jynx to be purple in color.

Figured I'd ask here instead of making a thread about it -- what's going on with the ex-mod/respected user group? Seems weird that we got new mods, new admins, features are being added and it's all being discussed in a place that previous mods can't see or contribute their thoughts/ideas to.

Unless that's the intent, which is weird on its own, but I don't remember seeing anything about it.

It's not really a reward if it's re-implementing a group this forum has had as long as it's been around. Seems more like something's being taken away just because nobody's bothered fixing something that was lost during the reset.

But, alright then. Just thought I'd ask.

The idea of the group is to reward ex-moderators with a position greater than the average user, yes? I guess that would really be an award, rather than a reward, but whatever. I don't think the idea of the group applies any more because Stone and I don't really know any of the ex-moderators, and it seems like most of the ex-moderators are also those who are the least accepting of any sort of change to this forum, so allowing them the ability to have input on what's going would be counter-productive to the overall goal of what we'd like to accomplish. It seems more like you and the others who would potentially be a part of this group simply want it for your own status.

OR,maybe they feel left out that we just came in here and kicked them out of the choices being made. I personally think You and Stone should have all the ideas for this site open for discussion,other than suprizes of course,and let the members know what's going on and what should happen. Like say if yall added something we really didn't like and we all just don't get on anymore. This site's traffic would plummet and the rating would go down the drain,same with its profit. We should make this a voting thing,at least as of now in the early stages of this merge. I didn't like it here,at first,but now I kinda enjoy it and I'd like to know what's gonna happen as much as anybody else.
