Shamelessly advertising my latest 3D animation >_>

Quote from HewittFor certain indigenous tribes like the Philippines, Christianity wasn't a sign of subversion or conversion to a dominant power but rather initially seen as a pact or business proposal. They saw nothing more of it than as a means to be able to trade with the "west", and that's how the Spanish got to them. That's why the Philippines is one of the most religiously rooted countries. Didn't help that it was also fucked in the ass by Americans and Japanese to birth some crazy cultural mishmash.
Of course we can all cite examples of varying degrees, I find it despicable that something as personal as religion was even offered as a pact or business proposal. What if they had rejected? It was a case of overt domination, but there is nothing more subversive or tyrannical than telling somebody to believe in the same things you do if they want to do business (or want to live, in other cases).

I personally like this, although I know very little about the physics of animation. As a casual viewer, I thought you did really well with the weight of the anchor.

What is your specialty in computer science? Or are you one of those general, all-purpose computer fellas?

haven't really decided on an emphasis yet. Honestly I just want to get a computer science with computer science emphasis for now, it's more versatile in the workplace than one with a networking or architecture emphasis and I can still take all of the networking and architecture classes.

So computer science isn't an over-saturated field with all the outsourcing bullshit still going on 3rd gear? Hope that works out well. I trust you are keeping in line with the life of a college student and getting laid, drunk and high as often as possible.

Short answer: no. Computer science is such a good degree to get right now for a lot of reasons. You can only outsource so many things, and most jobs that are outsources are low-paying programming jobs to begin with.
I don't want to get a job in programming. Ever. I don't want to be a programmer. My main reason for going to college isn't to get a job, but I think compsci will definitely help me get into a ton of different fields, and at the very least I can be a graveyard sysadmin or tech-support guru.
I also have an aesthetic taste for design, art, and layout naturally, so it wont be hard for me to make my own websites and shit and my compsci background will allow me to DIY all of the backend server bullshit so I don't have to pay some 3rd party company. I could also make android apps, shitty DS games, shitty flash games.
Basically compsci isn't really a "field" in today's world. Everything has computers in it. Your car has a computer in it. People's artificial limbs have computers in them. Everything is migrating towards complete electronic integration. But even if it wasn't, I don't give a fuck about having a "good" job. I'll sell weed and grow organic produce for the rest of my life and not make hardly any money and I don't give a rat's ass. Success isn't measured by how much money you have, it's measured by how happy you are.
Hope that works out well. I trust you are keeping in line with the life of a college student and getting laid, drunk and high as often as possible.
lol bro that's basically all I've done so far

Well have money doesn't hurt your chances at happiness, but I see your point. Courier me some of that homegrown shite.

Having huge pecs will make your happier than having a huge bank account.
Also I don't grow weed but I can send you some cucumbers
