I don't think anyone who ever grew up having to miss a meal will ever claim that money isn't important. Only people who grew up in reasonably comfortable surroundings, who had their needs attended to, will talk about how unimportant money is. Of course there are exceptions, but I'm talking about the majority. You'll never find a live-and-let-live hippie from a family stricken by poverty that had to work their asses off everyday to feed themselves.
