I would argue that Jar Jar binks is less annoying than c3po being an epic dick wheel for 3 movies AND c3po hogged up more screen time.
Though queen amadalas political bullshit was terminally boring, mostly because politics bore me to tears.

No it wasn't it, was choreographed and forced to shit. Completely unbelievable, especially compared to the end of Jedi when luke and vader are fighting. There's no perfectly timed dance moves, it's just Luke letting his emotions get the best of him and wailing on vader.

Luke? Vader? What movie are we talking about?

I'm comparing the end of Episode 1, a shitty movie, to the end of Episode 6, a good movie.

Right, I got it.
Tbh I don't enjoy any star wars movies at all. I really like Knight of the Old Republic though, the universe is fascinating.

You're aware that the double bladed light saber is incredibly similar to the double bladed chinese jian sword. Which is a martial art based on dancing, right?
The problem with the sword itself is that you have to lead it from the hip and use full body motion. I've made one out of pvc pipe and pipe insulation/tape. You can't just swing the arms with it or when you swing forward the second blade hits you in the hip or the back.
Basically you always have to be either making a step, or making an extremely exaggerated back and hip motion with every attack.
Besides that, Obiwan and Qui gonn jin using their single blades doesn't resemble dancing at all.
I cannot be convinced that the choreography in return of the jedi is better. Especially the scene where luke is "letting his emotions get the best of him" and he's pounding away at vaders light saber.
The basics of sword fighting dictate that you don't aim for your opponents weapons, you throw attacks that are directed at the opponent himself.
Of course I will not dispute that episode 6 is a MUCH better movie than one, no doubts.

Actually, it isn't a bit of plastic. It's an accurately measured replication, used to practice sword techniques.
I only use wooden weapons against people I trust. Because it's easy to break fingers and bleeding is an inevitability. If they get mad and throw a tantrum I would much rather be hit by padding and tape than wood.
Also the material is extremely cheap in comparison, I can make ten swords for around 20 bucks.

Just the idea that if someone was to throw a tantrum with a stick in their hands and you couldn't defend yourself from it is just generating more laughs dude

It's actually really common, see with pvc pipe and padding, people are more interesting in swinging as hard and fast as they can "because it's soft and will only leave welts/bloody nose at worst". Not actually learning technique.
Lot's of people are really competitive naturally "whether they realize it or not" and when they lose over and over again because they have no interest in technique they start getting upset. I've had this happen several times.
And what do you mean? It's not a stick, I am talking about wooden weapons. Have you ever tried to fist fight someone with a bo staff?

I'm baked dude, not trying to insult you, but I'm imagining like a glasses wearing thin nerd hitting somebody with a stick going "IT'S ABOUT TECHNIQUE YOU CUNT" 3x laughs so far
