OOC: I know, but Ravin doesn't. He has no idea the others can't smell the alcohol leading down the alley
Ravin hopped from one foot to the other. His friends were all running to the house when Adric was not in that direction. He didn't realize that the trail of scents, as clear as day to him, was invisible to the less sensitive noses of his comrades. He placed his hand on his cheek. What would Adric do in this situation? In a situation where lives were at stake and his friends needed him. A situation where there were enemies everywhere?
Grab the money of course. Ravin snatched the bag of coins and stowed it away. Adric would never forgive any of them if he left his profits behind for some streetrat to swipe. Afterwards, he ran into the house behind his friends. If clearing this house meant finding Adric, then that was a detour he had to take.
"Friends we must hur-" he was cut short by seeing the message on the wall. He drew Cerulean from its scabbard. "I don't trust this place. Stay wary. Stay safe."

"Lost friend...?" It was obvious that she's looking for Boris, and if that's possible, then she must be somewhere here in Worborrow. He then continued to interrogate the blacksmith,
"Alright," he started, "let me ask you a very important question... whe-" before he could ask his inquiry, Ahriman tapped his shoulder and pointed at the barricaded house.
"W-what?!" Boris saw Marcus, impatient as ever, decided to break into the old house without corroboration. He know he wanted to find Liss, but by the Gods, he's being hasty at everything since her kidnapping. He had also heard that Adric went missing as they're talking to the blacksmith. This is awfully suspicious, but he wanted answers as much as they did. He turned back to the blacksmith.
"Will you please excuse me for just a moment?" he exempted before rushing towards the group.
"What are you guys doing?! You're making us look like complete barbarians! Have some restraint!" His words fell on deaf ears as they manage to tear down the door and entered the abandoned house. They all entered and, at first, was all dark, but the sun's beam lit the room up and unveil the words written in blood, "No Place Safe."
"What the hell..."
Like the group, he also heard moaning upstairs. He doesn't know what's up there, but wants to assure to his allies to stay close and be cautious.
"Stay close... it seems like this house isn't completely abandoned. Let me go investigate first, please cover me." He pulled out his staff and readies himself as he took his first steps up the creaking stairs. The birds in his wicker hat huddled together as they hid behind the rims of his hat.

Quote from GrimmtheReaperAhriman taps Borislav's shoulder and points to Septimus and the others, then joins them. "Shall we see what hides behind this clever façade?"

Marcus fell into the house as he busted through the door. Standing up in a slightly dizzy fashion he noticed the blood on the wall and the sounds coming from upstairs. He didn't hesitate as he began to run around the house, almost pushing Boris out of the way in disregard for his idea, finding the staircase and running upstairs to see what the noise was. As he ran up the stairs, he said "l-Liss?"

Jessica thought on Ravin's words as she approached the house behind Marcus, "Ravin smells alcohol?... that can be Ad-" her thoughts were interrupted by the angel's action. She wasn't expecting him to take the door down and she was almost sure that Lissette wasn't there. "What is it?..." everyone stoped their talkig staring at something, probably something on the walls or floor, whatever it was... it wasn't good. As everyone else she heard something upstair and Boris started to approach, but whatever it was it didn't sound like Lissette or Adric, Jessica turned to Ravin and said "Once we check what's upstairs, do you think you can trace that alcohol scent to it's origin?".

"Lady Jessica, I have seen distilleries less saturated with alcohol than that man. It shouldn't be a problem"
He craned his neck to look over Jess' shoulder.
"Er, Sirrah Marcus, I think we should stick together!" He yelled after him

Before Boris could quietly ascend up the stairs, Marcus came and rushed headlong up. This startled Boris as he fell backwards.
"Damn toad..." he muttered to himself annoyingly, "he's going to get himself killed!"
Boris got back to his feet and ran back up the stairs as quickly as he can before anything awful happens to Marcus.

Jessica sighed deeply as she heard Marcus heading upstairs, he wasn't thinking "I know that he wants to fin Lissette, but's he's risking everyone's life with his actions" she said to herself and then turned to Ravin, "Stay close, I'll talk to Marcus...".
"Or yell at him... she thought as she got closer to him, following from behind "Marcus!, we all want to find Lissette, but break into a house and do things all bu yourself won't bring her back magically. Calm down please, and think what you're doing". Jessica wasn't sure if she was being too rude, but it was the truth... he has to calm down whether or not he likes it.

As they went upstairs, the entire group looked around. Dry, reddish-brown blood stains riddled the carpets, and there were scratches on the walls. The doors to a children's bedroom and the master bedroom were both wide open, practically off of the hinges. A small adolescent was hanging from his ceiling, likely done by his parents as it was obvious that there was some sort of struggle before he eventually perished. The child's body was going through severe states of decay, as if it was long ago that this occurred. This was evident by how the rope practically was sunken into his neck, and his skin had turned black. A pool of black blood was below him.
The mother and father had both hung themselves as well, their bodies in similar states of decay. Rotting chunks of skin had fallen to the floor, and there were some portions of their bodies that only had pieces of bone left over. Next to them, was more writing on their wall, this one slightly more recent than the last. Can't Be One Of Them
However, as they continued to look around the rooms, there was no sign of Adric. With the noise that had been made, he should have known it was them by this point. "If Adric isn't here...who closed the door?," Jessica asked cautiously.
They didn't have time to turn back and run out of the dark house. They didn't have time to realize that a group of people had snuck up behind them. They could only flail around, each and every one of them losing consciousness as the rag was pushed hard against their faces.
***
They all awoke at about the same time, their bodies aching. As they looked around, they found that it was pitch black where they were. If anybody was able to see in the dark, they could see that they were inside the confines of a sewer, with...surprisingly clear water.

Oh, for the love of... Gabriel rubbed his eyes, squinting against the pain of the headache that had appeared behind his eyes. "Jessica, do you see anything? Septimus?" He couldn't even see who was next to him, but he called out nonetheless. "A little bit of firelight would be wonderful."

Marcus awoke in a gasp of bloodthirsty rage, ready to carve his oppressors skulls. It took a few moments, but his vision soon adjusted to the darkness as the illuminated glow in his eyes would not only allow him to be seen, but allow him to see a short distance in front of him. He could feel the taint of his armor undoing all of changes he went through in his time on Earth. His compassion for others in his group began to leave as their well being began to fade from his mind. His body ached from this transition as he was slowly becoming an angel once more. A few strands of humanity were kept in his heart as he fought the transition. After all, this is not what he wanted. He heard whispers, voices of enemies he had claimed in the past as well as allies that he had lost. Still, Marcus fought the transformation. He would not allow all of his progress to be undone, but he had to save Liss. Torn between Heaven and Earth, Marcus persevered as he always did. Drawing his sword from its scabbard Marcus stumbled around as he tried to find an exit.

Boris woke up along with the rest of the awaking group, feeling a bit groggy from... whatever happened. He doesn't quite figure out what actually occurred during that time. All he could remember was that he went upstairs to catch up with Marcus and... saw something quite disturbing. There was so much dried blood... After that, there was nothing. All but a vague memory.
Boris lifted himself up as his hand felt the waters. Water droplets can be heard from yards away, making small echoing sounds. They're in the sewers, or is it? There was no strong odor lingering, and the water feels... clear. Too clear. No signs of any matter at all. It's hard to see because of how dark the sewers are, and wishes not to run to anything that hides within the darkness.
"Guys...?" Boris murmured, "how did we end up here?"

Coughing Jessica started to wake up, because of the ecco of the noises around her and the surface they were on she could easily tell where they were "We're in the sewers guys". She then took Gabriel's hand to let him know where she was "Let's stick close to eachother-" she stopped talking as she heard Marcus going alone again to look for an exit, this was annoying her badly and she got a bit angry, she made a few steps towards him and said "Marcus!, could you please stop going all by yourself?, maybe if we had a bit more time back at the house to think what to do, MAYBE we would've noticed that we all were in danger" she said almost yelling in a rather angry tone "You won't find her or Adric by yourself, stick with us and let's think on what to do!!"

Septimius groaned as he clutched his head, trying to dull the headache. "I don't remember drinking." He quipped. He blinked and looked around, then blinked again. He shook his hand in front of his face and could barely see the outline. They were somewhere very, very dark. He heard Gabriel and Boris, then he heard sloshing which he could only guess be someone walking around in water, yet where the water was he had no idea. "I'm here and I have no idea. But first let's find out where here is." He answered to Boris and he clapped his hands together to find where they were before he began. He began molding mana in his hands and it casted a white glow that could be seen through his fingers. He continued to shape it like it was a snowball, rolling it and compacting the mana. Finally finished, he let the orb go and it floated in front of him like a lantern. He looked around at the sewer they were in and grimaced, yet it turned into confusion thanks to how clear the water was.
He followed after the enraged Marcus, agreeing with Jessica. "Slow down Marcus! We need to stay together."

Marcus turned to Jessica, whose stop and wait mentality was beginning to get on his nerves.
"Tell me, Jessica, who do you think attacked us? If anything getting captured will work out in our benefit because they have more than likely brought us to where Liss is. I can practically feel her all around me, so please, forgive me for my actions. Forgive me for doing what it takes to save her. If we're making suggestions why don't you check to see if they took the feather's from you both."
