Jessica had surprised Liss with a hug. Liss froze a moment but eventually smiled and wrapped her arms around her friend. As the woman spoke to her Liss tightened her hug. "We understand you being worried. We all are. You can't just end yourself like that. It gets scary, and... We need you." Liss let go a bit and looked into her glazed over eyes. "We'll be okay. Just stay calm. Impulses are bad."

"I'm so sorry... is just that... I can't handle the thought of hurting any of you." She finally let Liss go from the tight hug and cleaned her face with her hand. She took a few seconds and breathed deeply, she grabed her sword again and swung it around before leaving it on her scabard once again. "I won't hurt myself not anyone but my enemies with this sword, I promise". She was still holding her neck where the wound was, it was still hurting a lot.

Boris was about to intervene, but luckily Lissette stood up to her and prevented her suicide. Still perched upon the tree, he watched the priestess giving Jessica a good pep talk and convinced her to move forward. He was surprised on how much Lissette has changed, he remembered her as a young tribal girl with little vocabulary who followed him around like a curious child. Boris smiled for her showing enough courage to snap the blind swordsman out of it. She has grown stronger. She has grown fearless. She... has grown up.
That's my girl.
That's my girl.

Ravin leapt off his bird as it returned to its normal size agin and flitted back over to Boris. He waved a curt wave at it as it dissapeared into the bird mans hat. He would miss that bird, as any man misses a bird. Which is to say, not much
He followed his comrades up the tree and stared at the setting sun. He held his pendant up to the sun, so that the topaz shone brilliantly. A warmth spread through him, but not from the magic. It was a deep, resounding sense of contentment
"Someday, I'll be right up there with the sun"
Stowing it away, he layed down on a sturdy branch. He absentmindedly began playing with a spike from his hat and whistling a light tune

OOC: My good friend, if you're reading this it is simply informing you of your mistake. Two things 1. PM all character applications to the head of this RP, BoomerangReturns, and B. Please let it be known that this RP is no longer accepting any applicants as it is too far in the RP for new players to come in. So sorry.

After some minutes Jessica could finally calm down, after breahting deeply for a while she managed to relax a bit. Even tho she's one of the physically strongest ones in the group, her emotional state is as fragil as a thin stick. Nobody ever taught her to control her emotions, and after having to overcome such a strong emotional trauma at a young age by herself, it lead to the personality that she has now. If it wasn't for her friends she'd have probably stay in the tree for a few days waiting to see if she turned into a vampire or not, but now she felt way better after what Lissette said to her.
She turned to her team and said "Should we get moving?, maybe we can catch up our friend and make him change his mind... also.... this is probably the last feather that we'll have to gather. Whatever that may happen in the city ahead, I... just wanted to let you all know that you are a really important piece of my life, I'd be a complete mess without your support..." she giggled a bit "Assuming that I'm not a mess already" Jessic said with a warm smile before continuing "I hope that by the end of the day I get the pleasure to see all your pretty faces again, and.... maybe after we finish this if you don't have a place to stay I still have a pretty big empty house that I haven't used in years. Also... even tho we've been moving from city to city, I understood that by being next to the ones you appreciate, no matter where you are, you can certainly call that place your home. Thanks for giving me a place to call home to, here in this forest, back next to the river, at the many inns we've been in." She did a small pause "If you all are ready, we can start one last journey towards Taranborge" Jessica finished waiting for her friend's response, hoping that her words gave them a warm feeling.

((Marcus had a new dream, say whaaaaaat. Camila, you're going to hate this XD))
As the angel slept, he began to dream of something new to him.
Marcus woke up in a field of beautiful flowers of every color and scent, surrounded by a thick forest that glowed in health. Even though the man was surrounded by all of this beauty he was alone.
"Gabriel, are you there? Jessica? Septimius?... Adric?"
Marcus could not see anyone, but he could hear the faint sound of laughter coming deep in the woods, and so he decided to investigate. The forest seemed abandoned as well, other than the very faint sound of laughter. It sounded like children playing.
"You can come out, I'm just looking for my friends."
There was no answer. The sound of laughter went silent as Marcus called out.
"Hello? Is anyone there?"
There was nothing, and so he continued on through the dense forest for what seemed like an eternity.
Marcus approached a clearing in the woods, with a large hollowed out stump in the center of the clearing. He sighed deeply as he sat down and leaned against the stump, enjoying the warm embrace of the sunlight on his skin. After several minutes he heard a noise that sounded like a deer walking through the forest.
"Hello mister."
The angel opened his eyes and scanned the treeline for whoever called out to him. It sounded like a little girl. Marcus shot up quickly and said, "You can come out, little girl, I'm just looking for my friends." Just like that, a little girl with brown hair and horns stepped out of the treeline, holding Marcus' sword in her hands against her white dress. "How did you get that?" Marcus took one big step towards the child and ended up tripping over himself. How did his boot laces get tied together?
"You're going to have to be better than that, old man," said a little boy behind the angel. The little boy ran up to the man and took his coin purse. "I think this is our best one yet, Estrela. Zayne will be so proud of us!"
Marcus squirmed a bit and rolled over, fixing his shoe laces and getting up once more, "You can keep the money, but I'm going to be needing my sword back." The angelic man pointed at the little girl, Estrela. "Why don't you kids tell me who this Zayne fellow is so I can have a chat with him about your behavior."
"Erik, don't tell him!" said Estrela.
As soon as Marcus turned to confront the little Erik, the boy kicked the man in the shin and shoved him before running off to be next to his sister. "Zayne is our big brother and he's going to beat you up!"
Marcus, now holding his shin, "I'm going to hurt you two little brats!" Before the angel could step off, a small purple orb shot next to him and exploded, knocking the man off of his feet. Marcus opened his eyes and sat up, staring at the face of another child, except this boy was much older. He had long dark purple hair and red eyes. Around his neck were necklaces made of animal bones and shark teeth.
"What did you say you were going to do to my family, old man?"
Marcus looked at the kid questioningly, "You're Zayne? I got jumped by a bunch of kids?"
The purple haired rogue smiled at Marcus and nodded, "Don't take it personally, wrinkles, we're just trying to feed the rest of our family."
Marcus placed his palm on the kid's face trying to push him away, but he was overcome in disgust as Zayne licked his palm. Pulling his hand away Marcus scraped it back and forth against the dirt, "what the hell is your problem, kid? That shit is gross." The angel kicked Zayne's leg, knocking him off balance slightly as he rolled away and stood up, ready to fight this punk. "Clearly you've never had your ass kicked hard enough," said the angel. Zayne busted out in laughter, "Oh come on, gramps, your old dusty bones can't keep up with the great Zayne. No one fights as hard or fast as I, just ask all of my lady friends." With an innocent grin, Zayne winked at Marcus before sliding closer to him and sweeping the angel's legs, knocking him down again.
Marcus was getting extremely frustrated at some punk kid practically making a fool out of him in front of the guy's siblings, who were cheering Zayne on in the background. Marcus stood up again slowly as Zayne began to walk away, and that's when the angel noticed the two horns the kid had. "Who are you three?" Marcus questioned.
Before Zayne, Erik, or Estrela could answer the angel, an older female voice called out from the treetops, "They're nothing but nuisances that's I've been trying to find for several years." A black arrow shot out of the treetops into the ground below causing the grass to turn into thick black vines and constrict the four people below. Zayne began to cut himself out as he rushed over to help his brother and sister. Marcus was practically stuck in the vines. "I'd love to stay and help you out, old man, but I've got to go sell all of your stuff now. Have fun dealing with that bitch, gramps!" The trio of demon children ran off as the woman leaped down to Marcus from the canopy.
"It looks like I've been blessed with an angel today. I've always wanted to eat an angel." The white haired harlot licked her lips as she walked closer to Marcus, who was still struggling to free himself from the vines.
"I just want to know where my friends are, so please tell me and then fuck off kindly, thanks, " said Marcus. As the woman approached and stepped from the shadows of the trees, Marcus could see her much more clearly. She was rather tall and slim, with white hair and blue eyes. "Liss?.." The woman stopped at Marcus' question. "N-no. I don't know who she is. My name is Valkyrie, though I don't usually introduce myself to my food." She approached Marcus and knelt down next to him, rubbing her smooth hands on his rugged face. The angel was practically paralyzed from the toxins of the vines, but he could still talk. "What did you do with my friends, demon?" The young woman laughed a bit, "Well I don't know about you, but I eat my food." The woman sat down on Marcus' waist, holding his head with her hands as she showed the angel her sharp teeth. He could see a black ribbon tied around her neck. Didn't Jessica have a black ribbon? As the woman leaned over closer to Marcus, she grazed his neck with her sharp teeth, teasing him with how helpless he was. Before the demon woman could sink her teeth in the angel's throat, another voice called out from the woods. This one was much more familiar. "Valkyrie, darling, leave your father alone." Astrid sat up a bit on Marcus and looked into his blue eyes with her blue eyes.
Marcus woke up in fright from his dream with sweaty palms. He stood up and looked around until he saw Lissette and approached her. He didn't have any words for the demon priestess, he just took her by the hands and kissed her passionately. Marcus didn't know what this dream meant, but he actually enjoyed it unlike the one he had been having since he arrived on Earth. The fact that he was able to have a second dream since him and Lissette became close made his heart grow much more attached to the woman. Being able to have a different dream meant a lot to the angel as he laughed in joy a bit. "Lissette, if we ever have kids, we're not naming any of them Zayne..."

Listening to Jessica's long and feely speech, Liss smiled happily and nodded. "Let's go to..t..tar... Yes let's go." Liss went to look for Marcus and in turn he came practically out of thin air grabbing her by the hand. "Marki your hands are all swea--" Getting cut off by his kiss she giggled playfully and kissed back. After he broke the kiss she tilted her head at him and whined. "But I like that name..."

Ahriman cracks his neck, stiff from remaining motionless through the night. "Septimius must make his peace with undeath, just as I have. Now then Marcus, what's this I hear about children? Are we to expect Nephalem when all this is over?" he jokes.
Feb 20, 2015 5:35 PM #1312575
Marcus affirmed, "but if you think about it it's actually a very silly name and if we named him that everyone would probably make fun of him and beat him up." It's not so obvious to everyone else since they don't know the contents of his dream, but it's still pretty obvious that something happened to bother the man about it.
Marcus looked over to Ahriman, "kids?" He shook his head. "Truthfully the thought of having children hasn't really crossed my mind much. I mean, perhaps one day." Marcus began to wonder what children between him and Lissette would be like. Hopefully they would be better than those asshole kids from his dream. "I don't think I'm ready for kids."

Blushing hard, Liss death gripped Marcus' wrist and glared up at him with her black and red eyes. "Let's not talk about this right now." Moving him away from Ahriman her eyes returned to normal "I know you can't see it but my face is really warm. Shush your mouth." Letting go of his wrist she wrapped her arm around his waist. "Besides... My name isn't normal...and I'll kill anyone who makes fun of his" Looking up at him she had never been so serious in her life."Then we will see who is laughing."

Desmond woke up with nearly everyone awake. The night's sleep did him good.
When he climbed down, Ghan dropped by his side with a thud. "So, what now?"

"Now we move" Jessica said to Desmond as she walked next to him and placed her hand on his shoulder. "I hope you had a good sleep, I .... had an intersting night" she added as she covered the scar on her neck, she then started to walk towards the road to Taranborge "Let's go".
