ooc: sorry, I'm never here on weekends so it's unfortunate cook decided to continue this on saturday. Either way Liston has terrible communication skills so this whole convincing-the-doctor thing is characteristically beyond my capacity to deal with and I'm struggling to find a way to contribute to it.

OOC: I actually thought this was Liston's cunning plan to stay away from the doctor's line of sight since he could be recognized in a hospital. My Plan B, if the doctor proved uncooperative, was to hijack the place and request Liston to treat Adrian and Victoria himself at their facilities (but I'm glad we didn't leave Devour's life in your... unconventional hands lol.)

"Tolemsky promised a great deal of things doctor, but the only promises he has delivered are to his rich friends, the ones who keep soiling our street with corpses and filling his pockets with gold. We don't work for him, if that is what you were afraid of."

The doctor blinked.

"That's, that's kind of who I was hoping you were working for. I'm not sure you understand, but Tolemsky promised me this hospital would be protected. I'm not sure if I should be telling you this, but Tolemsky allows certain districts of Altruis to go unguarded for the sake of keeping the peace in our sectors."

He wiped his nose, and after looking through the party, he waved them over to an office in the back of the hospital.

One the way to the back, Jy notices something out of the corner of his vision:
One of the guards from the strip club. More specifically, the one that was shot in the chest. He laid on his back, twitching restlessly as several scared-looking doctors tore his chest open, pulling pellets out of his body. There are other guards around him, clearly guards from the shootout at the club.
Saying nothing, Jy follows the rest of the party.

Just as the party reaches the office, one of the Doctor's attendants steps into the room.

"Doctor, one of the patients has woken up, he's in critical condition, but he's conscious."
The Doctor turns to the party.
"The man that you brought in, is he with you?"

When you said one of the patients woke up, is it Adrian or one of the bodyguards?


Edit: Also, does this mean that we are at the same fucking hospital that the people we shot are also in? That would make us the stupidest motherfuckers on the planet. I would have just decreased my intelligence and perception to ZERO when creating my character if thats what we actually did.

But the hospital you guys went to was the nearest one, and just because you're smart doesn't mean the guards aren't. They went to the closest hospital too, which happened to be this one.

No didn't we specifically make sure we didn't go where the other guy's cars were and we didn't want to be found out? Like I genuinely thought we made it clear that we're going somewhere we can't be caught.

I'm certain we didn't go to the hospital that the guards would go to as well.

OOC: So, what's happening? Because I also was under the impression we traveled around a bit before we went to a hospital so we would be away from any suspicion.
