Yeah I wouldn't worry about it yet. I don't like the button interface at all because I'll be playing it on PC, but with Bethesda their shitty console-directed decisions are always fixed by mods. Every game from them has had a PC UI mod in some form. I wish they would design for both but they're one of the only companies that offer such extensive modding tools so I figure it's reasonable for them to assume modders will end up customizing it in a better way than they could every make.

Did anyone else think Star Fox Zero looked strangely bad? I'm talking about purely visually, Wii U games can look amazing and Nintendo generally puts a lot of effort into developing their aesthetics around the hardware to get the best look they can, but Star Fox Zero just looked... outdated. I noticed a whole bunch of flaws like clipping into the ground and stuff, they didn't even try to hide it.

The final fantasy 7 remake gives me chills. I want to be ambivalent about it, but damnit, it was one of my childhood games.

I missed the boat with FF7, never played any of them actually

I have a massive bias against FF7 so I'm excited to play it again from a fresh perspective and decide whether or not how I feel about it is actually justified. Hopefully they handle it well, but it's kinda weird that they JUST released FF7 HD and now they're remaking it. This is actually good for me because if they do a good job and it does well maybe they'll be more inclined to remake FF6 (which they've said previously they haven't touched because they are afraid of screwing it up), but if they screw it up I'll know to avoid future remakes and save my precious childhood memories as just that.

If they can successfully revamp the materia system that they used for magic and the chocobo breeding.
