I updated it with the new link. Thanks Jutsu. Gonna leave the video for now though, tell me if that's no longer the correct way to install it.
Anyways so what's you guys' favorite card? Mine is the Phyrexian Obliterator:
It's pretty much the same, oracle prompts you once you install; impossible to miss.
Oh dawg my favorite card hands down is Deathbringer Liege. Especially once I remake my modern b/w control deck. I mean, just read the text on this guy:
Then count the fact that there's a lot of spells that are black and white simultaneously. It's pretty much begging to combo.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand here it is right now, needs to be tweaked after playing a few rounds of course. Maybe gimme some help here?
As you can tell it's themed: Deathbringer
Creatures: 22
4 Nightsky Mimic
3 Deathbringer Liege
3 Nip Gwyllion
3 Tidehollow Sculler
2 Athreos, God of Passage
2 Sin Collector
1 Ashen Rider
2 Angel of Despair
2 High Priest of Penance
Nightsky is jesus mode, being 4/4 and flying more often than not; obvious synergy with Deathbringer Liege and his spectacular ability. Nip Gwyllion may seem insignificant, but the life link can be a god save when stacked with Edge of the Divinity and there aren't any better b/w one drops if yah catch my drift. Tidehollow is a must, his first ability scouts; his second ability controls; same as Sin Collector who is a higher cost. The main difference is Tidehollow can end up giving the card back, while Soul Collector is limited to instances and sorcery. So be particular about it.
Ashen rider and Angel of despair for a little bit of late game scaling and synergy with deathbringer.
Not sure about the High Priest of Penance or Athreos, will probably need to replace these guys.
Spells: 16
3 Edge of the Divinity
3 Castigate
4 Unmake
4 Utter End
2 Identity Crisis
Edge of divinity is brilliant for a one cost enchantment, on this deck only pretty much. Castigate, Unmake and Utter End are no-brainers, they fit the theme perfectly and frustrate the enemy endlessly. Just exile whatever cards you actually allow your enemy to have.
Identity Crisis is in here only as a late game party crasher, lots of combos at least rely on the opponent having cards in their hand or graveyard. So think of it as a just in case type thing. Obviously the goal is to be pulverizing a helpless enemy by the time this spell can even be played.
Lands: 22
2 Godless Shrine
4 Temple of Silence
4 Isolated Chapel
6 Plains
6 Swamp
Should be no surprise, good land is good. I could probably get away with more fancy lands, but really I like having everything in neat stacks. Mana should rarely be a large issue here, but I may add more just to make it more in line with what tournament decks do. Maybe if I scratched Athreos?
It's not amazing or anything, after all it's a theme deck.
