Amanita watched the group hold out the rock on their palms as part of the training. What kind of training that involves holding rocks for an uncertain amount of time is beyond her. Whatever's the case, she'll give it a shot and grab the rock before extending it as far as she could.

"This... is awkward..." Amanita confessed with uncertainty to the point of this entire training method.

Excuse me, Veir, but I have a small suggestion: create a timeline on the front page of all the "main events", "the main plot" that has occurred. That way, spectators can grasp what has happened, like the Mafia game's tracking! Just the important parts and links to the page that it occurs. Your choice on what's actually important.

The group waited around, holding their stones in this strange training. As they waited Virachne, Meredith, and a new man were brought back to base. They were all three immediately taken into the medical wing and the group was assured that none of them had sustained any real damage.

However, regardless of their strength or stamina everyone eventually dropped their rocks. Everyone except Izzy.

"There were two easy ways to solve your problems here. One you use your abilities to solve the problem. You're supers! Born with incredible powers! Even if you think you're not amazing, you really are."
Landon looked at Frank in particular with this sentence.

"Izzy here used his powers to take an impossible yet simple task and turn it into a lounging wait. The other way to solve this problem. Team work. Magnus could easily have held all of your stones alone while the rest of you worked as a team to hold his one stone."

"We'll continue our training tomorrow."

And thus began the training regiment.

"Well group. I'm proud to say that in only the short time of a month, you have become one of Lyzer Resources most effective groups. I can't stress how proud of all you I am. And to reward you all, I will give you a power up. We've extracted the ability to slightly boost you all with the information we've gathered from Hollow's mask."

Meredith: A physical touch boost is now slightly stronger. Also boosts can be given through clothing.

Frank: Luck increased.

Magnus: Stronger, faster, and more durable.

Cecile: Quicker formation of ice. Better medical knowledge.

Amanita: Better aim with a pistol. More self control over the poison.

Draou: Using the void takes less of a toll on his body.

Izzy: Can now manipulate candy at range, but it is only half as effective. Has a range of fifteen feet.

Virachne: Regeneration slightly faster. Speed increased.



"As of now... I think you're all ready. I will send you on your first group mission.
We've received reports of a port town that some of our colleagues are from may be under attack from a super. Now these colleagues would be very appreciative if we checked out this problem and handled it to the best of our ability. They want us to go in, rescue their family, save any civilians who may be there, and search their homes for any special gear.
This will mean finding a single family of three, scouring three homes, and of course sending any civilians to a designated safe zone.

The only problem we have is that we have very little information about the actual attackers. A thick fog has rolled in from the waters of the port and has been there for several days. You'll be going in with little visibility. However I trust in all of you. When you're ready, just head to the helicopter down the north-east corridor."

"Sounds like a straightforward enough plan," Cecile nodded. Her appearance had changed in the month she had stayed: her VFI uniform was left behind and replaced by grey lightweight combat armor. Her weapons: Memento and the other Winter Raptor were still in the same positions. A pouch was placed at her right, outfitted with a more up-to-date first aid kit. She still carried her backpack, rations and her binoculars stayed with her. Having trained alongside Lyzer's doctors, she further understood her field and the training allowed her to lower temperatures down quicker than what she had previously done.

Everyone around her, were her allies. All ready to take down VFI.

It got her a bit jittery just thinking about it.

Magnus listened to Landon's words and smiled, "I'm ready to kick some ass with my teammates." He stated, cracking his knuckles.
Like Cecile, Magnus had changed his appearance as well. Now instead of wearing his plate armor over his regular clothes, he wore his old jeans still, but now instead of a long sleeve grey shirt, he wore a normal white t-shirt. An extra large combat vest went over the t-shirt, and his axe was freshly polished and sharpened. He wore new steel toed combat boots. as well.

"I'm ready to go whenever you guys are..." He said, waiting.

*disregard*

"A super..."
Frank Langston looked at his hands.
"Why? It's not like my power did any good... If luck is even a power. Every day before this event, I would go to a place, write down things, and then leave..."
"Being good with machines isn't a power. Being crazy enough to attempt risks is not a power."

Frank turned his eyes toward the direction of the door.
"It's not too late... I can still run, get away from here..."
He looked back at the others.
"But they trust me to go. I can't just betray them like this, after all they did for me, after all we've been through.."
His teeth grounded, he sat down, in conflict with his two different personalities.
"Strewth... I don't know!"

A month had passed, yet his feeling were the same. His results seemed pale compared to the others. Nothing happened in appearance, except maybe a pair of sunglasses.

Meredith stared at her fist crackling with green electricity. The electricity ran up her arm then dispersed into a faint momentary glow.
So it wasn't a waste after all...
In a month of intense specialized training, her power had increased significantly, boosts no longer made her feel so tired, and that pesky flaw had disappeared.

She had also let her hair grow out, long bangs hugged her face and the rest of her trailed down past her shoulders. She normally cut it herself but between training and missions, she no longer had the time to herself.
I'll cut it when, I'm done with this group.

Her ensemble had changed as well, rather than her black tactical suit, she wore a black carbon fiber top across her body eschewing the bulkiness of her old suit but keeping the protectiveness. On that she wore a thin red kevlar vest with extra compartments for ammo, auxiliary gun storage. and computer devices. Like her casual clothes, she wears grey slacks but these are fitted to be light and protective as well.

Casually, she strapped on her gloves, "Lets do this properly this time..."

Concerned, she glanced over at Frank. He was clearly distraught, wrapped in thought about something.
His own power perhaps...

Meredith wanted to tell him to stop obsessing over it, but it had already been a month, and it was none of her business.

The young boy had his arms stuck out like he was in a balancing act, tottering from one side to the other, his basket swaying back and forth along with him. He hummed as he twirled lazily about, simply following the team's flow towards the helicopter dock. They had been training inside the facility for a month and they didn't have much vacation hours to go outside much so he got to spend a lot of time with Meredith, Cecile, Amanita, Mr. Drew, Mr. Sandwichman, Mr. Bull, Mr. Shield (because calling him Mr. Bull as well would've been confusing), and he had finally, through careful observation and eavesdropping, learned the Nice Lady's name. "Hi Vi," He chirped, waving to her with a bright smile before looking back down at his feet to skip over the lines made from the contrasting tiles, and to only step on a certain color across the checkered hallway.

.Bulwark began making his way to the helipad, he stopped seeing the helicopter that was meant to get them to the drop zone, guess ill be first aboard then, he thought to himself .He began making his towards the chopper,climbing into the back section finding himself a seat next to the door. If things started going bad he would be able to shield the others. He buckled himself in and awaited for the others to board.

Draou grins, taking off his baseball cap and twirling it around his right index finger. Despite the decent amount of time passing by, he has decided to keep his appearance relatively the same.

"I guess I'm out of real practice anyway. Working together as a group should be energizing. I certainly would be happy to volunteer to scout the area with my ruptures, if that is acceptable." Draou puts his cap back on, twisting it slightly to fit more tightly on his head.

I haven't talked to 1 for awhile... something to do as well, I guess.

A month passed since Amanita was with the Lyzer Corp., training on using her pistol and learning to control her "curse," she still feels a bit concerned about her first mission. Even if she was dragged into this, she can't say no, can she? After all she went through?

"Well," Amanita said, "I guess it's time to nut up or shut up."

Vi was ready to get onto their first team mission. She learned to be more sociable with the others and also started to learn their names, it felt good. Considering it'll be her second time to be working with someone else, instead of feeling nervous she felt good about it. Noticing the boy waving at her, she tried her best to give him a nice smile and waved back as well. Turning towards the heli pad she got into the helicopter right after Bulwark.
