The moment Sora was virtualized, he could feel the feelings wash back into his mind again as the process lost it's hold on him. Choosing to do his best to ignore them for the time being, he glanced at the towers in either direction.

Not wasting any time to think, Sora made up his mind and ran to the tower on the right.

Every mistake I've made has been judged by a league of masses who lack any form of true selflessness...

"Alright Pascale, I'm starting... Can you focus on informing me of the concentration of hostile enemies when the opportunity presents itself? Anything even a second early would be extremely helpful."

Balancing his weapon in both hands, Sora assumed a defensive ready position as he continued to sprint forward.

"Jesus christ!" He ducked and looked over to the entrance. "Oh great... Ms. K turned into one of them. Do you know she cut a pitching machine with a baseball bat?" He helped Chi out the window. "Didn't I already suggest that? Whatever run!" He followed after her.

The field ahead of him seemed devoid of any creatures whatsover, the looming burning tower was suspiciously unprotected.
"Sora, wait a minute... I can't see anything on the map, just...two towers. That...can't be right.

Nil finally reached the shore of the factory, climbing up the hilly side, he could see sporadic patrols of zombies nearby the entrance.

The two landed outside the Dorm without incident, but Zombie Ms. K leaped out of the window and crashed into the ground with her wooden sword so hard that the ground shook up and down like waves before expoding and uprooting the nearby trees.

Nil takes a moment to catch his breath, then strips out of his keikogi (kendo shirt). It would only weigh him down, considering it was now saturated with water. He ticked off another cost in his mind for Kendo Club. He was just racking up all kinds of debt today, wasn't he?

He finds a place to hide, trying to get a feel for how the zombies were moving. Why were they here in the first place? Did they chase somebody out here? It was going to make it tough to actually get inside....

Sora squinted, eyes turning to a dark shade of green as he scanned the area, still sprinting forward.

"Probably a trap then..." Glancing upwards, Sora sighed with a degree of impatience when he still saw nothing.

"Pascale, can you double check each tower specifically? There has never been more than one right?" As he spoke, Sora kept his pace in a sprint as he tried to find movement around him for the time being. There was no way there wouldn't be some sort of obstacle.

They could be buried under... summoned... invisible... I can't figure anything to do other than just running for the 50/50 chance of a tower anyway.

Balancing out his weapon in his right hand, Sora kept his other open in case something popped out. Adjusting to any distance, even underneath him, seemed like a better plan than focusing all his options in one direction.

I hate my luck...

Nil's phone vibrated and he received a text message from Pascale: Turn your phone on the highest volume and throw it as far as you can, over the zombies in 10 seconds.

Meanwhile, in Dexter's Lab.
Someway to find the towers...
"I'm working on it Sora, give me a few minutes!

The burning tower remained in front of Sora. As he looked around and braced himself, nothing happened.

Nil glanced at the message. "Guess there're cameras out here. Pascale, if we make it through this, I'll find a way to make it up to you." He maxes out his phone's volume and counts down the time, before chucking it for all his worth away from the entrance and himself.

Arriving at the tower, Sora looked up towards the top of the structure with a hint of apprehension on his face. Lightly sliding his weapon against the tower, he glanced around warily as he attempted to mimic what he saw Chubs do before to enter.

"Alright, testing the first tower." Waiting for something to happen, Sora's body tensed up slightly as he prepared to jump.

The tower glowed red and blasted his sword off of it. Luckily, Sora managed to hold on as the sword flew back, sliding a few feet. A large red circle emanated from the tower on the ground, and spread out 20 meters from the tower in the center. A powerful red beam began to shoot of toward the sky.
"Sora! The other tower is the activated one, but the one you are at seems to have activated something! So...wait a minute! You have company!"
On the edges of the circle, strange cubic monsters appeared out of nowhere, surrounding Sora and the tower.

As Nil threw his phone, his loud ringtone blared on, echoing off the water, to the other side of the island. The Zombies shuffled quickly but awkwardly toward the sound leaving the factory entrance and the inner factory clear of any zombies.

Nil waits until he's sure they're gone, before racing to the entrance as quietly as he can. Once inside, he sticks to the shadows, making his way for the elevator, finding it shut down. "Oh, you've got to be kidding me."

This again... Of course, I'm not even surprised now.

Green eyes glaring as they darted around to notice the enemies gathering around him, Sora activated the spin-up on his glaive as he quickly turned to face the monsters straight ahead of his position. Turning the dial to max out the speed of the blade movement, he took a few quick steps forward before breaking into another dash.

"I don't have enough options now for this to matter... good luck."

Bolting straight at the enemies in front of him, Sora watched the boxes around him in order of distance to where he was moving, waiting for them to fire before swinging to deflect. Weapon held above his head in both hands, he started by bringing it down in the directional order of whichever projectiles from either side would hit him first. Once and if he managed to reach the edge of the group he was currently going towards, he would cut through them as fast as possible and begin to sprint towards the second tower with his weapon continuing to deflect shots behind him. While he did figure a good amount of shots would hit him anyway, the hope was to defend against enough damage to stay alive for enough time to break through the line of enemies.

The familiar whir of the elevator moving up could be heard by Nil, it seemed it had been all the way at the bottom, but slowly and surely, it was rising.
Nil felt a creeping presence coming from behind him. Standing in the entrance of the door way was Agatha, flanked by Jim and Mrs. Monet. Smiling, she pointed at Nil once more.

The 6 ??? on the edges and 10 behind the tower, all seemed to move closer to it, forming a defensive line around the tower, ignoring Sora. Of the four in front of Sora. Two moved back and started charging, while the other two flanked and shot lasers, both of which missed him

[???x2 HP:??? Charging]

Nil sighs. "Mrs. Monet... I'm so sorry. I'm sorry to you too, Agatha. Jim, we aren't really that close, but I do feel for you as well. You helped me out a lot, even if you don't remember. I'm not going to be able to play with you all for long, but it seems like I've got to waste a bit of time until this elevator arrives." He takes up a kendo stance, despite having no weapon. Even if he had nothing in his hands, he'd trained for years now. His body knew how to fight even unarmed; and a downward strike hurt, whether it was by weapon or hand.

Jumping forward as he got within melee range, Sora pulled his rotating glaive in front of him to deflect the charging shots. If the knockback of the projectiles was enough to kill the two in the back, he would swiftly turn to deflect upcoming shots from the other two. Otherwise, he would temporarily pause the rotation of his weapon, shoving the grip between the two enemies to hit both with either blade at the same time in a downwards curving swing before turning to face the other two.

Oh, so now I'm not instantly devirtualized? Not even hit once...? B#llshit! I don't care about avoiding this anymore, I'm not going to stop until I derez every single one of you...

Whatever happened, Sora made sure to keep moving as he worked himself up. He wasn't about to become a stationary target like before.

One deflection per bot... Let's try that. Or that happens and...
