Elyss nodded to Orwell and began to get her tools. She requested Mano to be by her side and watch her. The medic began to explain each tool and their use to her apprentice as she set them aside on the table near Edward.
"We will begin," she said. "First we shall apply..."
The porcelain woman began her lesson and the surgery at the same time. She discussed further what anesthesia was needed and how much for a boy Edward's size as she injected it into his system. She described the grafting procedure as she took some skin and muscle from another part of Edward's body, his leg. She only took a small amount that would equate to a small flesh wound and explained that normally, for a wound like Edward's, it would require a lot more but in this case she can heal it faster to regenerate with as little as that. After a bit, she and Mano were done. After the surgical procedure, she had begun to sing. Her voice echoed inside obelisk as she focused her talent on healing the boy's chest. The new flesh placed on Edward began to grow and connect with the old, it could be creepy looking to some but to Elyss, it was an everyday feat. After a bit, Elyss exhaled and sighed. She wasn't fully rested but this was fine. Edward was on the way to healing right.
"Done," she said, tilting her head to signify her smile. "Mano, would you be a dear and finish the procedure? Kindly apply the bandages. I will guide you through it and help if you need it."
