Isabelle was leaning against the wall, growing frustrated as her patience fled her.

She stood up and joined the rest of the group, ready to leave this damn cave. Isabelle turned her focus to Orwell, knowing that he is accompanying the boy who seems to have somewhat of a clue. "Excuse me, where is Edward? I feel we really should be getting on our way before something else shows up."

Mercy spent her 'rest time' by wandering around the cave with earphones in, not being able to sit down in one place for longer than five minutes. Occasionally she scribbled something on a wall with a laser cutter, be it some pointless doodles or actually nice drawings - At least as far as one can get creative, doing some shallow carvings in the wall. The girl didn't want to disturb the others, but at the same time she simply didn't have enough self-discipline to just sit there idly and wait, having no real need for rest.

When Horace made his appearance, at first Mercy was confused, even pointing a gun at him there for a moment. However, after asking dozens of questions, and the whole situation clearing up, she pretty much glomped the guy, happy that, well...One less person is dead.

"Well...We sure ain't gonna achieve anything if we stay here for any longer..." Once they came back from outside, few minutes later the girl showed up with her backpack at cave's exit, seemingly ready to go. "...Eventually one of these things will stumble upon this place. Izzy's right, we should keep moving." She looked towards the exit, squinting slightly at the light, then turned back to the group. "...Also...I thought we could make a better use of these while we travel..." Mercy pointed at the bracelet they all used to communicate. " What if we send out a scout that will march some distance in front of the rest of the group? I mean...He'd be harder to spot, and we get a heads up if something happens...It will also limit casualties if...you know..." Her smile faded for a moment. "Anyway...just an idea, I think some bandits and caravans do something like that back on Earth..."

"Master Edward is still recovering from his operation. However I know as much as he does and continuing down the path we are presently taking will lead us to our destination which is the Water Wall." Orwell sighed. "However between us and our destination is a group of islands we will have to traverse but they all seem to be inhabited by these beings. The monster that just killed Leo is currently heading that way as well. Besides all that, I do not believe we even have a method to traverse the waters to reach each island. However Madam Isabelle, as you said we must move on so we shall tackle these issues when we come to them." The Obelisk stood up and he began marching towards the exit. "Now Miss Mercy, your plan is a sound one, but the larger issue is... well me. If I travel alongside you, there is a higher chance we will be spotted. So instead of a human scouting ahead, I volunteer to be vanguard. Of course we will have to remove Master Edward. Can anyone carry him for me?"

Mano, who spent his rest time in a dark corner away from everyone, seems to come to his senses. "I could probably carry him," he volunteers.

Horace looked to the group knowing with his ability of resurrection, he was the best bet to scout ahead. He looked at everyone and said with a chuckle

"So it would be safest if I went ahead and scouted our surroundings and figure out what's out there. Cause i can come back, which one of you want to be the lucky one to hold onto my pocket watch. If it's destroyed I won't be able to come back".

He eyed the group awaiting a volunteer.

Isabelle stepped forward to retrieve the watch from Horace. With the watch in hand, she spoke to Orwell primarily as well as the rest of the group, "Forgive me if I come off as offensive, but there seems to be both a lack in leadership as well as proper strategy. Both of which are important in group environments such as this. If any of us live or die, I could care less, but it will greatly hinder everyone else. Orwell, you are the largest in the group and will cover the rear, not the front. I'm not sure what creatures you all have faced before my arrival, but judging by the past few that we have encountered I don't think we are equipped to stand our ground. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Our scout will be Horace, as he can technically cheat death. Horace, you are to travel several meters ahead of us and keep an eye out for anything hostile or useful. You may be able to cheat death, but if you are careless with your life like last time you will put us in that much more danger than is necessary. Mercy, if you could, please stay with Elyss and Mano in the center of the group. Nikolai, you're with me in the front. Also, there will be no need to carry Edward. He is probably safest with you, Orwell."

The mage looked over the group before heading to the cave exit. "If there are no objections, we should be on our way."

Orwell chuckled, "I must admit traveling in a group is foreign to me, so I shall take your word for it Madam Isabelle. However, I thank you for your offer Master Mano, if the occasion ever presents itself, I do hope I can rely on you to keep Master Edward safe." The Obelisk took its position at the end of the train and Orwell tuned the sensors so that he would have an idea of what's coming from the sides and also possibly even behind them.

"I have no objections," Elyss replied with a nod. Before she obliged, she moved to Orwell and knocked on the bot's metal.

"How is my dear patient?" She asked sweetly. "No trouble so far?"

"He seems to be resting peacefully." Orwell reported. "Madam Elyss I do not believe I can thank you enough for what you are doing for Master Edward. For what you are doing for the both of us." Orwell looked at the half-fraysan woman and his resolve steeled. His existence was for forfeit as long as it was to protect Edward and the party. "If anything was to happen to me. I trust I can leave Master Edward with all of you and rest easy."

Yogi slowly approached the group, hands in his pockets.
"Hello? Anyone need Yogi to do anything? Fix anything? Clean anything?"

"Where did you guys find this guy?"

Isabelle let out a long sigh, "Just hang out with Orwell and do whatever it is that you do."

The mage clapped her hands together and motioned for everyone to head out of the cave so the adventure could continue.

The group proceeded outside of the cave and were met with a gorgeous view. A long plain spanned the horizon before them. The lush green grass coated with a gray dust. Large tracks were carved through the earth towards mapped direction of the sea but no creatures were in sight.

The mountainside seemed to have a natural decline to their right, leading downwards. A path to the left led into another chasm, presumably to another area in the mountain range.

Horace stopped being the first to notice the pathways and looked back awaiting the rest of the group wary of anything that could get the jump on him. He stood there regretting not taking one of the communicators.

Isabelle motioned for Horace to keep going down the mountain path, disregarding the chasm.

Nikolai Jr walked with the rest of the group, in a slight trance following Leo's death. He noticed the thick, gray ash against the grass and winced, following beside Isabelle. He disregarded the chasm, considering it seemed further out of the way.
