Look at Cronos's explosions animations, he vertically mirrors it, the explosion that's on the bottom doesn't merge with the one on the top.


I didn't really know what you meant by horizontally mirrored but I assumed you meant when both of the guy's body parts were falling so here is the improved version. I also worked on the walking please comment.

That's a very good animation. Be proud of it. It does lack a little force though, like Avian said. You could try cutting out a frame before impact in each case or adding a tremour effect. Or both.
