Please don't take C&C from Kingsmash. He doesn't know enough to help anyone.
That was anticipation, yeah. But you didn't use easing at all. The punch didn't have any force, and the character's back leg flew up for a frame or two and then instantly hit the ground again. It was weird to watch.

well atleast i got anticipation..

I can't seem to remember why he's leg flew up though.
Could you also explain to me further about easing and how to "ease" the animation? (i don't really know what it means.. sounds important)

Well, Ephers, I didn't feel like typing out how easing works, so here's a good example of what easing is.
Image
In real life, things don't instantly start moving. They start out slow, and build up speed. The same thing goes in animations. Use at least three frames of easing, something slowly gaining speed, before making something move full speed. Same thing goes for when you're slowing something down.

I find the way his arm wiggles when he fires the beam hilarious. Oh and his head resizes.

You're just butthurt that I stopped you from giving bad advice.
For your animation though, its an improvement from your animations before. Hopefully you get better fast.

Well, the character that was attacking the other stick kept running even as he could clearly see that the character who jumped over him was out of his way. If you make the attacking figure stumble to a stop at the end of the screen, it looks more realistic and interesting.
That's all I see for me to comment on. I'll comment on the easing and physics and everything when its finished.
