I would still reccommend the manga. The manga fleshes out each of the kids who get to pilot the mech, complete with their own backstories and conclusions. The anime dances around certain prominent characters as well as the aformentioned ending and plot.

Ah that's kind of dumb. It's not bad enough where I wouldn't give it a try though.

Panty and Stocking is a wierd ecchi meant to poke fun at other animes, cartoons, and people. I recommend it. Fun for the whole family. Its about two sisters who are angels. Their mission is to kill ghosts 4 moneyz. Sounds mainstream enough, right? Typical anime. No. Because they fight ghosts with their undergarments. Panty is a hoe who... removes her panties to transform it into a pistol. Stocking is a goth who removes her stockings to create katanas.

Watch it watch it watch it. But be warned, for the vulgarness of the words is indeed high. The sexual situations and references are always near. Garter the priest is into little boys. (It is never shown what he does to them, but he is often shown staring at them from a distance. Huehuehue. Sex. But all that shouldnt discourage you from enjoying it, you slugger! :3

You're warning me? haha, surely you're wise enough to recognise my avatar? ;P I may just have to check it out!

Quote from RaptorI read Bokurano, but I haven't watched it. I dunno, I really liked the way Bokurano ended despite how horribly cynical it was.
I've watched and read Bokurano, I loved it.

I probably not going to watch it, but I love its soundtrack.

In all seriousness though, it's soundtrack is amazing, I consistently find myself listening to it when I'm chilling on youtube.
So the other say I watched Aiura and I legitimately don't know how I feel about it. It's just a 4 minute slice of life short, and well, it was just really fucking cute. It was as void of any substance as any other moe show but I'm not sure if I love or hate it's 4 minute time block thingy. I mean it has it's few jokes, slaps you in the face with the adorable bat, and then ends just as you seem to be getting into it, but it also means that it doesn't get stale and boring like a lot of 24min moe shows... Maybe all moe should have a 10 minute time slot? Maybe I should stop rambling? Maybe you should all watch Tonari no Seki-kun?
Edit: In other news, it is extremely hard to defend anime when people pull shit like this. This is why I can't tell people I watch Japanese cartoons...

Its soundtrack is very gud. Im a bit angry about the small amount of episodes, though. Scanty and kneesocks are the cutest villians ever. Period.

I can officially agree with that!! I've been watching the show as suggested :D It's awesome. Love the artstyle! Ookay, back to watching more of it :3

Damn, you know in hindsight, reading Bokurano after experiencing 3 Family Deaths in the last month probably wasn't such a good idea. I'm getting all feels-y and empty inside.

A couple of pages back, Drone made his review for the Spring line-up for anime. I'll be doing the same thing now except I won't be doing every anime, but just the ones I've bothered watching so far, so don't try to make me review any others unless you're sincerely trying to recommend me another anime. Since I'm just going off of what I have now, a lot of the anime I'll be reviewing is something I've only seen 1 episode or so for. I could wait until I watch more episodes, but that'd take a looooong time. So I decided to write one right now. Oh, and these are more of reviews than actual summaries and if I ever give a brief synopsis it'l only to help with my review. Okay!
I could write more, but I choose not to. I'm really tired. I'll consider writing again tomorrow.

The lack of Tonari no Seki-kun in that list hurts me deeply. But yes, all signs are pointing that I will love One Week Friends, so I'm trying my hardest not till watch it until it's all done.
I might have some things to say about the other shows, but I'll wait until I'm sober to do that.
Edit: Still not sober, but in the mood for typing.
Mushishi is exactly as you would expect it to be, it's art is a little better from the first season and about the same level as the recent OVA, it still has solid characterization, simple but engaging stories, amazing pacing, and Ginko is still just an absolute joy to watch.
