Just got finished watching Deadman Wonderland. Nice story. Lot of holes though. They made too many deaths happen within a short amount of time. One episode has around at least two or three unique characters die almost every time. If not, then terribly wounded to the point where you know a death is coming.
The story gets cut off too quickly though. I'm jumping to the manga to top it off.

I feel like myself is the only person (besides myself) who doesn't watch anime. And I don't mean this as a joke saying myself is the only one. I mean myself and I.
I do watch anime; lots of it. I'm just not a huge weeaboo about it.

LOL, people still go to 4chan? What is this 2006?
ALL KIDDING ASIDE, I just finally started watching Baccano! consistently. I've been trying to watch the whole series since it first aired in 2007 but for one reason or another I would stop watching. I know Jombo has seen it, has any one else? I'm just 2 episodes in now, but I'm really enjoying the characters and story. The show doesn't seem to take itself seriously, so it's easy for me to get in to without feeling obligated to follow every little detail.

HOLY SHIT.
That's one of a few shows I actually own, it's awesome. After a while the plot really really really starts to thicken. But at an acceptable pace.
Quote from Indexbut calling someone a "shit taster" is also just fucking around. For the record, the posts that made me nauseous weren't yours, aside from the last one.
I know, I just wanted to hear it coming from you, haha.

Does the whole series center around the Flying Pussyfoot? Or is that just the beginning episodes of the series?

Oh boy.
Well you see.
hmmm.
Without spoiling let's just say that the flying pussyfoot will be a reoccurring theme. The plot of the show jumps around different segments in time, where the flying pussyfoot event is sort of near the end of the time line. It's up to the viewer to piece the events all together. The show will be constantly jumping back to the event of the flying pussyfoot.

Baccano is my second favorite series of all time, and I remember telling Jutsu to watch it a couple years back. If you don't already know, it's one of those extremely rare cases where the dub is actually good. With its setting, the New York accents and whatnot actually fit the characters and make it more enjoyable imo.

Yeah actually, when I first started watching it in 2007 I only had the sub available, and it was a bit hard to keep up with all the jumping around like Jutsu mentioned. It's on Netflix instant now so I've been playing it on my second monitor while I work. The English dub IS really good, I almost went back to the subs when I heard the little girls voice in the first episode though. I usually like trying out a dub first because you do get ones that are really well done, like Hellsing Ultimate. This is also a perfect example.
Ugh I remember watching this around the same time as Welcome to the N.H.K. and now I want to watch that again as well.

Fix'd
I've tried both, the dub is just plain better. And believe me I usually prefer the subs too, but some shows, man. Gotta go dub.

Hey, I'd like thank whoever will accept it. I was actually a "entry level fag" not a week ago. I just watched whatever came on toonami and whatever I stumbled upon on Netflix. And Holy sh*t, the time I wasted streaming. I was perusing this thread and read a few posts that made me think. (which meant my feelings got all hurt) I reviewed what I used to watch and changed how I viewed my anime. The quality of what I'm watching has jumped leaps and bounds. I'm using torrents and watching stuff with some substance. I've just started watching Bakamonotagari, and I'm enjoying it. I'm downloading Sword art online now. Thanks guys.

no way this guy is for real... he's too perfect, on his first post too. tell me you're muttonhead
If you're not trolling, SAO isn't very good in terms of all anime, it's just good for a seasonal anime. Definitely not Bake-level.

Ohh I watched SAO.. it's pretty entertaining

I've had an account here a while ago, so I know what to avoid.
I don't mind. It's better than what I've been watching. Speaking of which, just finished my second episode of bakemonogatari, and I love it. Bad thing is that I have watched truly good anime, and couldn't tell what about it made me like it so much more. Like I loved Welcome to the NHK, but I kept watching naruto after being exposed to it.
What's a muttonhead?

mutton's a user who was banned
If you really like Bake, I recommend watching Katanagatari next. Same type of banter/excellent dialogue and lovable characters, but with awesome non-shounenshit fights. Don't put Nisemonogatari (continuation of Bake) on your watching list anytime soon unless you're keen on fanservice and like Shinobu a lot.
EDIT: unrelated...
Lots of hate for this already, but the truth is I'm fucking paumped. Looks fun as fuark to me.

I'm hooked on a game/anime called Persona 4. Although it does have an actual anime series, the story line was too simplified for my liking. I might get to watching it after I finishing the 100 hour story.
