I agree. That conversation was very uncharacteristic of me. Now exactly what sort of thing do I say to Rachel? Like I said, we're on opposite sides of the spectrum. The second she answers my question, I'll either have absolutely nothing to say back to her, or something along the lines of ''I have to go use the bathroom'' will slip out. Anyone have any conversation starters that I could use?

My contribution to this thread is to just radiate confidence, ladies love that shit. If they can sense your confidence then they'll know that you're a strong independent black woman that don't need no man. Even if you believe you lack any form of self confidence then just pretend like you have it. Things will start looking up from there I promise ya.

Last time I attempted to be confident was 5th Grade, and I came home with a broken heart and a write-up for sexual harassment. But at that point in my life, I thought confidence ment Step 1: spew out inappropriate comments. Step 2: Girl gets interested. Step 3: Sex. All those playboy characters in movies have lied to me.
