In world of war craft you get hit with a 30 minute debut when you leave a battleground because of the same reason, you're screwing everyone out km a good gaming experience. That's fair because one game on wow takes about 30 minutes abound jus the same thing for everyone no matter what. The fact is riot is on some sort of witch hunt for negative players that they punish good players who had shit come up because let's face it, what other game requires you to set aside up to an hour for one game? Leaverbuster is way too strict and the way riot handles their customer service is shitty. They're a bad company, and that's when I won't be playing league when I get back to the states.
But a lot of league matches are resolved in a 30 minute time period. In the last 50 games I've played only maybe 2-3 of them have been hour long matches.
I don't have a problem with leaver buster. I'm glad it's lowering my likely hood of being match with people who didn't set aside enough time, have terrible internet or are constantly being interrupted and taken from the game. It's a competitive game.
My only gripe with their system in regards to leaver buster isn't leaver buster itself, but the fact that you cannot forfeit until 20 minutes into the game. Even if you have a troll, feeder, AFK'er or you're just absolutely getting curb stomped. And unless you're a party of 4 you can't guarantee that at least 2 assholes will refuse to vote for surrender and keep you in the game. Leaving you no choice but to suffer through more, or to quit and potentially get hit by leaver buster.
