You are a minimod.
Even Dudemans called you a pansy little minimod.

I am a minimod then -_- I see you've gotten another infraction.

I agree. I don't even understand the ?/?(?) format of the infraction count.

I believe (from experience), it goes like so,

warnings/infractions(total points up to 10)
if I had 1 warning, 2 infractions, and 5 points, it'd be like so.
1/2(5)

I suggest that Zulu or someone fixes the code varification code when making a new account.

However, there's so many members now that it would be hard to keep up. Although I don't know how many get banned, because we don't have bandar. Bandar thread second'd.

However, he's not at 9 points.

Your explanation is correct. The only thing to note is that warnings give no points. Infractions, can give 1-10 points at a time.

Bandar is a bad idea. It requires Zulu to do the banning. A lot of bans go through this system in a week, and I don't think Zulu can/would want to keep up.

Everyone like the new silent update? The "check if thread has been made" button for general help and several other sections.

When I used the warning system, you could give 1 - 10 points.
Users had 10 points to take.

If you did 2 warnings, each worth 5 points. His 10 points would be gone and you could ban him.

MUCH MORE EFFECTIVE.

If I'm correct, they changed the warning system so now you can give custom infractions. You can give from 1-10, 10 is a ban.

My thoughts exactly. Apart from that, I think it takes too long for anything to actually show up. You have to just stare at the screen for ages and see that there's a new "hai!!!!!!!!!!! need help plz!!!!1" up there. Woo hoo.

Eh... what?

Back in the old days (oh, God...), we all used to update it. The mods and ZuLu. I don't see why mods can't do the banning now.

Whoever bans someone adds that person to the BaNdAr. Simple as that. Right after you ban someone, you go into the BaNdAr thread and you edit their name in. I don't see why you'd have to be ZuLu to do this.

I'd actually been thinking about suggesting the return of the BaNdAr myself. I never did quite understand why it was ditched. I liked it.

As for the warnings vs. infractions thing... I don't really understand the differences or anything, never having used such a system myself. I never even knew about a "warning" system. If someone could kindly explain things for me in a manner so clear even a kindergartener could understand, perhaps I could add the suggestion to the first post.

For now, I'm adding the BaNdAr and not the warning/infraction thing.

The problem with the bandar is this.
You cant easily seen how many times someone been warned.
So no, the bandar was bad.
It was a piece of shit in the good old days, and it would be a piece of shit now.
A automated warn and ban system should be implemented.
It just shouldn't be the current one.
It should be the one that we installed at the start of the forum.
The one I suggested, and the one that made sense.

Tally marks? Like these: ||___ ||||___ ||||/ |||| ___|||

EDIT: And an automated ban system is already blue. Damn near red. You can pretty much forget about it.

We already have a automated ban system, SoY.
It's the infractions mod.

And it blows goats.

Which is why we need the original warnings mod back.

With custom infractions, we basically have all the powers of the old system just without perma bans. The old system was a bit buggy too.

I do enjoy the system with the "custom infractions" update which expands our powers.

Quoting oneself. In certain parts of the Internets, it's considered to be a crime punishable by death (er... banning). However, I'm afraid you'll just have to excuse my lack of forum etiquette for the moment.

What I want to say is that I was perhaps a bit off in saying this. Just because something is blue does not necessarily mean it won't happen. It basically means it's highly unlikely to happen, especially anytime soon. For example, I just added three more links to the "Bring back skins" suggestion, even though it's blue. I think the admins should watch blue suggestions just as closely as black ones. After all, adding new links to those blue suggestions is basically adding new arguments toward them, and warrants reconsideration by the administrators.

EDIT: Ten infraction points for a ban, FrAnKeH.
