[OOC: Well that development surprised me. Haha.]

The pale light of the moon above was a welcoming feature of the night. Despite the horrors that come with, Desmond associates it with peace of mind. Normally on silent nights like this, if you ignore the quaking survivors, the stitcher would be harvesting. He never did like doing it but the passing of time turned it into a habit then routine until it became his life and reaching that, he claimed sanctuary in doing it.

Desmond found Ghan, dutifully waiting just beyond the manhole. The eyeless sockets kept their watch of the surroundings, wary of the dangers. The stitcher ushered in his other allies, helping some get out.

"We're out." Desmond said finally. "And it seems the wolves have left for the night."

((Ooc: since I can't get on irc- Boomy, Liss' horns can't shrink but making them some huge monster horns would make her evil side so unbearable her good side would die unless that's what you're stating.))

Marcus climbed out of the manhole shortly after everyone else had piled out. Looking around he noticed the town wasn't filled with life anymore, but instead it was rather empty. This perked Marcus' curiosity like it had back in Falarog, he had to explore what was left behind. Perhaps the farmer's son had been through here, Marcus thought. The man also considered finding new clothes and new armor, maybe even something for Lissette. He always enjoyed getting gifts for people. Marcus never believed that taking from the dead was wrong. He would never disturb a man's grave for anything valuable that he may have been buried with, but the though of scavenging whatever may be left behind did not bother the man.

"It looks like the town is practically deserted no just like Falarog. I'm going to go out and explore a bit, if you all want to find an Inn I will come find you all. From the looks of it I don't think it would be an issue to sleep where we can though."

With that, Marcus began to walk off to several abandoned store's in the town square.

Scavenging is a good idea. Desmond thought to himself as he mentally agreed with Marcus. "Let's go, Ghan. We'll try to find some parts for you."

The idea is interesting. Ghan's thought entered his mind as they walked. The very moment it did, it felt as if a fly entered the stitcher's ear which he promptly attempted to take out.

Desmond sighed. "It will take time to get used to your voice." He admitted. Ghan seemed to have a heavier voice than his own, as if he was an older him despite the obvious age difference.

Voice is weird? The clockwork companion asked.

"No, just," Desmond rubbed the bridge of his nose. "I'm used to a silent reply from you."

Should I stop speaking?

"Didn't say that but tap first before you speak. I still have to get used to this," Desmond said. As they walked, the stitcher took out the list from his thoughts and murmured them as they moved. "We need a pulley, some copper, iron and some acidic juice or..."

..vinegar. Ghan finished. Desmond nearly jumped.

"I said tap first," Desmond said frustratingly. "But yes. If we can, gold. Then crossbow parts, for both you and Ahriman."

Watching Marcus climb out of the manhole she bounced slightly helping him up. Liss perked up as he stated that he was going to explore. "Oh! Me too! I could use some more clothes! These cloths aren't doing me justice..." She looked down at her feet frowning at the little animal wraps keeping her feet off the ground. "Erm... And some shoes..." Trotting behind him she wrapped her hand around his again. "It's... So quiet..." Being alone with him again she blushed and looked down. "I uhm... I don't know how much I'll be able to contain this..." She whimpered. "...evil... In me... If I hurt you again and don't come back..." She sounded scared. "You either need to help me remove some points from my horns or..." She didn't even finish the sentence as she gripped his hand a little bit harder.

Marcus was surprised at first when Liss slid her hand into his, but he was happy that she decided to tag along. He never really had anyone accompany him on his snooping around. Marcus listened to her words in distaste. "Lissette don't speak of such things " he whispered to her. "I would never hurt you, and if I must lay down my mortal life for yours then so be it, but until then I will protect you by any means. I will find a way to bring Liss' green eyes back, no matter the cost." His hand tightened around hers as well. His heart was beating quickly at the thought of Lissette suffering. It wasn't a kind thought, and it made him sad for a moment. "No one.. No one has ever made my heart feel this way since I came to Earth... Is it.." He struggled a bit to finish his sentence, as he felt a choking sensation in his throat almost as if the air in his lungs had run out. "l-love?"

He didn't want to bother Marcus and Lissette so with his arms behind his head he went over to Desmond. "Scavenging huh? Sounds good to me. Maybe we can add some food to that long list of yours?" He chuckled. He put his arms to his side and his right hand cringed again. It ached as he flexed it and he didn't know why, maybe it was some drawback from getting stabbed, but it had been healed so he didn't know. He opened and clenched his hand, then stretched his hand, cracking his fingers. Then suddenly a flame flared in his palm and he quickly clenched his hand in horror and surprise. He shivered and waited for the crushing headache to come but nothing. Hesitantly he peeked to see if he was sent to the dark dream world, but there was Desmond and Ghan next to him. He looked at his right hand and shoved it into his pocket.

His hand gripping hers made her walk closer to him. Him explaining to her that no one has made him feel this way. Looking down she has only felt this way a few times. Two to be exact. She knew Boris had someone else. It was why he never showed the same affection back to her despite how close she was. He then cut off making her peer up at him. "Love" Looking down quickly she blushed a deep red and her eyes glowed brightly. "I... I..." It had been a short time between two days ago to him loving her but his determination made her rub her thumb on his hand. "I think-- I know so." Laying her head on his arm she pointed with her free hand at a little clothing hut that seemed pretty dark. "Look!"

Desmond noticed Septimius and nodded. "Yeah, food should be priority but we should search a bit further from the survivors." He suggested.

The stitcher noticed the flame and how quickly it was put out. "You might need a light source a some point," Desmond pointed out. "The moon only shines so bright on darker shadows. She can even play tricks on you."

Soon enough, a market place comes into view. Its deserted, only the darkness and the pale spotlight above are its company.

Marcus was incredibly nervous as he didn't even understand exactly what it was that he was saying. Maybe that's how he knew what it was? One thing he knew for sure was that it was a complicated feeling that came in many different forms, but all in all it was the same feeling. Before he could say anything else, Liss seemed to have pointed out a store that sold clothes, he smiled as he replied "I could use a new outfit, let's go check it out, dear." He didn't even catch the last part that he said, but it came so naturally he seemed to have said it without thinking about it. He turned his head a bit as he began to blush, a bit nervous to how she would react. He held her close as the two walked over to the clothing store.

"Well... I guess that everyone is going to do their own things..." she stretched her arms and simply walked around the town. Jessica placed her hand at the top of her head and got a bit scared noticing that her ribbon wasn't there. But before she could keep looking, she remembered that Septimius had it, she frowned as she started to remember "Troy... what happened that night...." she kept walking around thinking deeply on what the demon has told her earlier and remembering what happened that night... even tho her chest hurts every time she remembers her past... her dark past she has to 'search' deeper into her memories. She got away from the group and stood near a tree she withdrew her sword and stab it on the ground in front of it. Then she started to remember... every sound and every movement... "I entered the house... the smell of dry blood stucked on my nose, 2 corpses on the floor..." she gulped "mom and dad.... someone approaches from the backdoor..." Jessica took the handle of the sword tightly and grit her teeth "Why couldn't I recognise you Troy... your smell your steps, they were so different that night, why.. WHY, WHY!!" she stabed her sword deeper into the ground, her breathing speeded up as she continued "Then without a word, you started to attack me... I was angry, I knew the guy I was fighting was the assasin of my parents... was it you?.... was it really you?...".

"AAAAAAHHHH!!!" Jessica pulled out her sword with a battle cry and stab it into the tree with such force that it passed through it's trunk "It was my fault wasn't it.... I was too angry to recognise anyone? or it wasn't you at all, why does the demon know something, THAT I DON'T KNOW. What does he have to do with it?. Did he do something to you brother?." she gasped at the possibility of the demon being a part of her parents and brother death, she let go the handle of her sword and felt the urge to let go all the stress and emotions on her body... a new posibility appeared on her head. A posibility that she had ignored all these years, and that it made her wish to have the demon's neck on her hands to rip it apart. She started to punch the tree with her bare hands as hard as she could as tears rolled down her face, not saying a word.... the trunk starting to crack with each hit.

Ravin climbed to the surface and stretched his arms. They couldn't cramp like the others, but he found it made him fit in much more if he at least faked half of his actions. The night was dark and the streets were empty. This was not the image he was expecting. Liberating a town involved a villain, which they most certainly vanquished. So where was everyone? He placed his chin on his hand.

"Tis passing queer" he said aloud. Once again, a feeling of unease crept over him. The others were chatting amongst themselves and Jessica seemed to very much hate the choice of greenery. Ravin agreed with her. A fir among a mostly seasonal trees? Appalling. He drew Cerulean from its scabbard and admired it. He had little time to look at it before, when they were fighting, but now he had the time to inspect it. It was incredibly sharp, yet incredibly light, and fighting with it seemed to come naturally. He inspected every inch of the blade. It was beautiful.

When he nearly concluded that he was just gifted with swordplay, his hands halted. On the underside of the hand guard, where the two dragons first intersected, there was a symbol. It looked like to triangles touching. Ravin carefully placed his right hand next to the mark, and found that they matched exactly. This wasn't a rune of some lost myth, or a curse of the gods. He now knew why this sword was so wonderful and familiar to him. The brand wasn't mystical

It was a signature of a blacksmith

Smiling up at him she looked at the matching red color cover his face as she raised up on her tippy toes kissing him calmly on his jawline. Pulling him along she eventually let go of his hand and looked at all of the pretty colored clothes. "They're so pretty!!!" Scavaging around she winced pulling her hand out looking at the black blood drip. "Ow!!" Pulling out something there was a choker necklace made out of fine black leather with silver spikes spiraling around it. "Marrrcusss Loooook!" She was so enthralled at the metal. "What is this?! It's like my tooth necklace... But METAL!" Showing him she smiled widely as she bounced slightly in place. "Can you put it on me?" Holding it out to him there seemed to be a very heavy steel ring on the back.

Marcus smiled and blushed more as Lissette placed a kiss upon his jaw. Marcus walked around the store, casually looking at all of the clothing he began to pick out a few things that seemed would fit him and placed them inside of a neatly stitched clothing sack. He was thinking of which look would be best for him a he rummaged through all of the clothing he could find. After placing several garments in his bag, he was suddenly interrupted as Lissette began to call out to him. He turned and looked at what she was holding. This made him blush even more as he noticed it was a studded collar, almost like the ones he had seen succubus wear. Even though Marcus was an angel, he always had a kink for the devilish looking clothing. At the same time, it also looked like a dog collar. Marcus thought it complimented Liss very well, so he proceeded to take it from her and wrap it around her neck until it fit nice and snug, but left enough room for her to breathe and freely move her neck. As Lissette turned to show Marcus he became much more nervous than he was before. "Wow, you look amazing in that! It compliments you so well! Now we just have to find you something that connect to that ring in the back."
