Yep. There could even be another forum section specifically for the mods to be able to see this if you want to keep it more private.

It would certainly be an improvement from the standard 'I am banned and I don't know why. help'

Just a suggestion, maybe only SE mods and the one who appeal can reply/post ?

I think sometimes other people weighing in can be helpful. Also the main problem is usually people don't know who banned them or what the reason was for. I doubt we could include either on the format. A format does seem like a nice idea though; I'll put it into the OP once we work out exactly how it's going to be

Make banning someone slightly more complicated.
When you ban them, select length, and a reason, or other.
Now it doesn't just tell you you've been banned, it tells you why.

Hmmm. I don't think it should be necessary and how often will accounts that aren't alts/names get month or year bans? I mean I guess we could but I don't think it would even happen that often.

Okay so how often do you think you'd be mentioning Month/Year bans excluding alts and names if you were to mention all such bans on this thread Myst? I personally would almost never need to.
