you're all fucking gay
Again, I hope they make the game faster, and more enemies on screen, as well as tighter environments and different movement options.
I am in love with the gore though <3

Goddamn, about damn time we get a proper solo fps experience.
I'm glad they kept the aesthetic of doom 3, but brightened it up so we wont need a flashlight for 90% of the game.

honestly I liked the flashlight. Tbh, it was annoying as fuck, but it was nice having a tiny view of the world, and it was claustrophobic and tense.
I played on Hard, and even the regular zombies were spooky cause they soaked up bullets and you didn't have a lot of room to move.
Every time somebody says "Mine Con" my ass tightens a bit

Yeah I had doom 3 special edition and beat it on the hardest difficulty always.
The flashlight did bring tension to the world, but there was pretty much no reason not to let us have it attached to our guns.

I can honestly say that this is the most excited I have been about video gaming in years.
Fallout 4
Dark Souls 3
Monster Hunter X
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

There were some sick games at the Microsoft presentation. The Cup Head game looked pretty sick as far as throwback indie games go. EA starts in a few minutes, but they seem to be doing half hour pre-shows which I don't personally care about, so the actual event might not start for another 30 minutes. I'm not big into EA so I'm probably not going to pay a whole lot of attention to this one but maybe we'll see some cool stuff

For all that is good and holy. Let it be known that I stand here today, begging the almighty powers at EA to announce another fucking Fight Night game and abandon UFC.
Like that will ever happen.
Like that will ever happen.

Fight night champions made a lot of great changes that should be capitalized on.
I second this.

I'm super busy almost the entire day this week, so I'll probably be unable to see a lot of these.
Also, I never played Fallout before, and subsequently, I feel like I'm the only person in the world who feels indifferent and now I feel like I should care.
I really hope the Nintendo Digital Event was as good as last years'.

Despite not being a huge fan of Star Wars I'm pretty hyped for Battlefront.

Not gonna lie, it looks better than I expected. Then again, I feel like part of that is because it (obviously) looks a lot better than the original Battlefront games.

Quote from CronosHewitt I don't see how you could possibly say someone is "falling" for Bethesda hype, when their last three big games, Fallout 3, Skyrim and Oblivion have all been absolutely amazing.
See that's the thing...we're now living in a day and age where bugs are expected. Remember when pre-ordering a game made sense? It used to be a way for companies to gauge how many units they had to produce in order to benefit from sales. But as the trend of selling games slowly became more and more digital, the pre-ordering method meant that companies can now release things earlier or at a certain date (like Christmas or in line with a Movie release), and fix things later via digital updates or DLCs. And this isn't just focused on Bethesda. Remember that shitty error when Diablo 3 first came out where you couldn't even log in? Assassin's Creed: Unity, anyone? To say nothing of Bethesda's reputation for never having a non-buggy game past Morrowind in their 1.0s...
And you're lucky if the company is even big enough to justify patching their games at a cost. Silent Hill Downpour came with ONE patch that we all just had to live with. Silent Hill 2/3 HD never had one and that was buggy as hell to the point that the originals fare far better.
Quote from CronosSure there's bugs, but that's what happens in games this size.
Wrong. Rockstar takes ages before releasing the next GTA bug-free. Rocksteady constantly pushes back their Arkham games if they even find the tiniest problem with it. Arkham City was pushed back an entire year. Arkham Knight was suppose to be due last year but I'm still waiting for it now. Indie game developers who kickstart their games carefully craft their shit before releasing it. So no, big games don't have to come with bugs, and they don't need to. All they need to do is to stop focusing on that essential fiscal year and make games because they want to entertain us.
Quote from ExilementI guess I'm just saying, this discussion is about the what, 15 minutes or so of footage that was just released about it? why not watch its so we can talk about the new features instead of the usual anti-hype rants everyone goes on whenever Bethesda announces a new game
Jeff asked for an opinion of whether or not we're "on board" with Fallout 4. I gave my answer: yes I am, but not this year. And I explained why.
