"Obviously getting away from the killer machines," Nil said honestly and bluntly. "In case it didn't occur to you, staying on campus at the moment isn't smart, especially when I live off campus. So, who are you, and why should I continue talking to you?"

Well my cover was well spent, Robert thought, while looking at the ground. "Yeah that did occur to me, but I see no reason why I should not introduce myself. My name is Robert J. Smith I just came to this school, and it appears to have killer machines and samurai teachers," Robert said.

"Also I don't know if you can trust me. I myself don't trust you, yet I continue answering question. Well since this conversation won't help me find some clues on anything, I best go now, and find someone else who has useful info," Robert said, and bowed before scooting off, but Robert knew something weird was going on, and the guy he just talked to was real good at hiding secrets.

Nil rubbed his temples, not wanting to deal with this at the moment. Deciding that having this kid follow him to the factory was a very bad idea, and that the kid likely wouldn't be satisfied with simply leaving, he decided to sidetrack for a bit. Though he didn't like it, he made his way to a coffee shop and bought a cup, keeping an eye out to see if the boy had followed him into a more populated area. Though he wasn't too far from the Factory, it was still unnecessarily going out of his way. The caffeine did help, though, so it wasn't as though the entire trip were wasted. He'd need his wits about him if he was going to avoid getting rezzed in Lyoko.

Though Robert didn't get any info from the boy, he knew that the guy was hiding something, but he also knew that before he was going to talk the same guy, he needed to learn more about him. So Robert went to the person which Robert trusted the most for the mean time: Frenchy.

"Hey Frenchy, do you know someone in the school that's Caucasian, green eyes, and raggedy brown hair?" Robert asked innocently. The reason why Robert trusted Frenchy was that she was the daughter of the headmaster, and Robert highly doubt that she would lie.

Feeling a sense of ease, Nil heads immediately for the Factory, heading down to the Computer Room to verify Pascale was there. "Pascale! If you're here... who all is around? We need to find that tower and get the time machine working. We need to stop this from happening. Nathaniel is seriously hurt, Coach Tim is hurt, Ms. K is hurt, it's all all going insane." Though there was still the incident from earlier and last night, he still looked her in the eye and spoke calmly. He could be embarrassed and self-conscious when people weren't in danger.

"Virtualizing Chi, Virtualizing Chubs, and Virtualizing Sora." finished Pascale as she completed the visualization process. However, as soon as she finished a large red exclamation mark appeared on the screen and a warning beep broke her concentration. Chi and Chubs appeared on the a purple floating rock structure connected by other rock structures all floating in a sea of fog. The duo had arrived in the Mountain Sector.

"Sora...something's up with the computer, can you come back up here?"

As Pascale asked this, Nil had came out of the elevator. Her chair swung around revealing her to him. She blushed slightly but it wasn't visible in the green glow of the computer room.

"Nil...We've got a problem here..."

Meanwhile, back at school, Frenchy had managed to evacuate most of the students into the indoor gymnasium, the pitching machine's seemed to be trying to shoot down the door. Furthermore, at Nurse's Office, Tim continued to barricade the doors.

"Everyone, I'm certain the teacher's will figure it out. We just have to wait here." called out Frenchy. Robert, appearing out of nowhere, asked Frenchy if she could help him find someone, but a green eyed brunette would be to broad a description to search for. That described at least 30% of the student body.

"Could you be more specific please?"

"What's wrong?" he asks. "Also, are you sure you're feeling alright? I'm gonna need you in there, and it'd really bum me out to have to leave saving the school to save you."

"I...just come here."

Pascale showed him an interesting image on the screen. Two cards depicting Nathan, Sora, and his own Lyoko characters were grayed out with yellow numbers that each read about 10 hours. The scanners are all working, status is green, 100%. But for some reason, I can't virtualize Sora, and I don't think I'll be able to send you or Nathan as well. Maybe when you guys went to Lyoko yesterday, you have to wait again before you go today. Chi and Chubs went in fine, but...with just the two of them I don't think its safe."

Frenchy pondered for a moment, but she was distracted by the requests of the other students.

"Sorry Robert, I honestly aren't sure who you're talking about. I can tell you there are no Freshman like that, but you could ask my friend Lyora. She's been here longer than me. She's the red haired girl in boots, reading notes over there. Tell her I sent you."

"So you're saying that we're stuck out here while things go to shit? This is really, really bad." He rubs his jaw, trying to think of something. "And there's no override, huh?"

Robert nodded at Frenchy, and proceeded to Frenchy's friend Lyora. Robert then walked towards Lyora then told her that Frenchy sent me, after that Robert told everything he just asked Frenchy, hoping that Lyora knew the guy.

"I've got...an idea, I could go in...I could back them up." suggested Pascale.

Lyora didn't look up from her notes, "Oh...Brown Hair, Green Eyes, Skull Crap everywhere? Why you looking for this guy Freshman?"

"I bumped into him earlier, I am just curious right now you know?" Robert replied. "So do you know him?" Robert continued, hoping to get a reply with info.

". . ."

Nil looks at her strangely.

"...are you sure about that? It's pretty dangerous in there, and you're essentially the only one who knows how to run this computer. I mean.... ugh, I'm just worried about your health. But it's better to not just send those two in alone." He rubs his forehead, walking around a bit, before looking back at her. "Ok, just... give me a rundown of how this works. I don't need to be an expert, but I need to know how to communicate with you all and keep you as safe as possible. If you can do that, then I'll accept you heading in. If you can't though, then I'm keeping you here and we'll see if we can contact Vath or Carver. Deal?" The look in his eye now is one showing a will of steel, that he will hold both of them to their words.

"I see I see," pondered Lyora, "You say you bumped into him earlier right? Was it before or after this Pitching Machine Apocalypse." She still didn't look up from her notes.

Pascale got up from the chair and stretched a bit.

"Thanks for the concern Nil, but I'm fine, I swear it. I can't leave Chubs and Chi alone in their, and we don't have each others numbers and no time to look for them. So, sit down, and I'll show you what I know."

Pascale showed Nil the ropes giving him a basic rundown on how the system worked and how to talk to them using the headphones.

"The virtualization process is pretty complicated, but I can set it like...this, so that it'll virtualize pod 3, in 3 minutes. Just watch the map and tell us if any red dots come up, and where the red cylinder, the activated Tower, is. Just ask me when I'm in if you've got anymore questions."

Pascale headed inside the the orange glowing tube of the scanner, the door closed, and the scanner began to hum.

"Wish me luck, Nil."
