"I'm gonna wish you all luck," Nil grumbles to himself. "Seriously, if anything happens to you guys, I'm going to feel pretty much like the scum of the earth." He cracks his knuckles, and focuses on the screen, trying to make sure there are no issues.

"It happened after the pitching machine incident," Robert said, calmly. Just answer the question, Robert thought to himself, getting a bit irritated that this conversation is taking much longer than he thought.

"Hmmm....I think I know who your talking about but uhhh...why don't you try looking here? Yah know, where all the students are?" continued Lyora, refusing to look up from her notes.

"Mon dieu...Nil, don't be so h-"

Pascale was cut off by the blast of light and sound that flew at her as she entered the virtual world.

Lyora looked up from her notes from the first time. She was smiling.

"Interesting...You're wondering if this guy I might know has done some peculiar things right? Something like asking questions about the whereabouts and habits of someone you have literally just met and don't know the name of? Nah can't say that I have. I'll give you a name but you've got to be honest with me. Why...are you really looking for this guy?"

She suddenly frowned.

"Frenchy might have sent you, but I really don't appreciate being lied to to my face yah know. Makes my fists itch."

"Well when the chaos ended, I saw him going somewhere, his looks made it obvious he had something important to do. He also kept dodging my questions, even though he answered me honestly, he certainly wasn't revealing the entire truth." Robert said, he then looked at the floor, then back up at Lyora. "So whats his name?"

Lyora continued to dance around the issue, seeing as being cooped up in the Gym while they waited was more boring then listening to Sora drone on in student council meetings.

Hand to her chin, she impressively faked a look of focused interest. "So....do you like him? Is that why your asking?"

Standing in the corner of the room next to the elevator door, Sora sat quietly for the first few minutes after he arrived in silence as Pascale explained the overall computers functions towards the virtual world to Nil.

Figuring there was not anything useful for him to say during the conversation the other two were having, Sora simply went over simulated combat sequences in his mind in order to not waste his time as he listened in. Mostly just review of what he already knew, it didn't take him long to realize that there were so many cases where just martial skill would not be enough in the virtual world that it wasn't worth putting the majority of his time into practicing. Unfortunately for Sora, the self control required to keep himself from acting out with emotions he wasn't used to using at such a high level constantly limited how much creative thinking he could use in a tense situation. Identifying this as his key problem, he laid out a few imitated impulses in his mind and practiced quelling them from his awareness as fast as he could. Starting off quite slow, he figured it would take him a relatively lengthy amount of time before he could get used to the strange mental exercise. To avoid the appearance of awkwardly sitting still with a blank, emotionless face, he began to do continuous push-ups on the ground while at the same time continuing to repeat his mental practice calmly in his mind until he had it mastered.

Luckily for Sora, multi-tasking was something he had an unusual talent for. While doing both his physical and mental exercises, he also paid close attention to the elevator shaft nearby in case someone or something used it later. In the back of his mind, he still pondered whether or not the others who were missing would make their way over to the factory during the crisis. Even more troubling was the idea that the hijacked machines would somehow find a way over to the factory instead. If the hijacking itself was directly connected to the virtual world like Pascale had said, it seemed likely there would be a lot more than ball machines to give them trouble in the real world later on.

Robert swatted Lyora's question off, but couldn't help but wonder why she said that. "I answered your question already now can you please answer mine," Robert said, slowly.

"Ah ah ah."

Lyora wagged her finger side to patronizingly.

"You didn't actually. I asked why you wanted to know who he was. You still haven't told me that. All you've told me when you last saw him."

Lyora looked back at her notes.

"I'll give you credit. You've gotten to the point where most people would just quit, and you haven't stopped there. Here's the thing, Jack...or Mike...or Bob...whatever your name is. Unless you give me a good reason, you're better off just going back to Frenchy. Cause I don't buy the 'Curiosity Excuse'."

"What you think i'm gay?" Robert said. "Look Lyora I barely even know the guy so what make you think that I like him?" Robert asked. "Is it because you feel the same way for somebody else?" Robert guessed, making a tiny grin.

Lyora looked up from her notebook, her face slightly pink. But she didn't seem angry, instead adopting the same patronizing tone.
"And what if I do? Considering your track record of getting answers from me, I'll graduate before you find out anything. Besides...Don't you think its kind of rude to talk to a Senior like that? Freshh-mannn."

"Rude huh?" Robert said. "I have been known to be rude, for several occasions, but what can you expect from a person who hates long conversations huh?" Robert continued. "I don't like fights, and i'm guessing this might turn out to one, so I should better go for now," Robert said, and walked towards the door. He then stopped a few feet from the door and said, "you're cute ya know, I bet you have good chance in attracting that somebody you like," Robert then went out of the room, grabbing a piece of paper on his hoodie's right jacket.

Chi looked around, and as always, a slight, unmeant smile, crept on her face.

"This place again, huh?" She turned around to face the others "Alright, so what's the... plan?" To her surprise, there was no one there, but that chubby kid from before.

"Um, Pascale what about..." As she started her question, one more person virtualized next to them, being Pascale. "...The others..."

"Hai," nervously waved Pascale back at Chi.
She wore a blue light metal armor that ended in a skirt wrapped in a blue cape and cowl complete with blue boots."If we're lucky Vath or Carver might show up, but Sora and Nil can't come here so uh...I'll do my best," she explained.

"Alright then, lets go!" she exclaimed extending her hand forward. Almost immediately a strange glowing katana appeared in her hand as if on command.

So that's how they do it....
